Mandrel Pipe Bender

A Baileigh NCE mandrel pipe bender has been designed with simplicity in mind from a control stand point and accuracy from a production stand point. This midsized NC machine can bend up to 3-1/2" mild steel with a wall of .157" and 2-1/2" stainless steel with a wall of .157" to within one tenth of a single degree. Now that is a very accurate bending machine.

Our NCE mandrel pipe benders can accept a 10' maximum length over mandrel. The mandrel bender extraction table has standard mechanical stops that can be set up for each bend position on a particular job and does come in handy for larger production runs. The MB-90 NCE mandrel pipe bender can be outfitted with the optional electrical Z axis positioner. Coupled with the mechanical stops, Z axis positioner is very handy and accurate when having to do any sort of production run with multiple bend angles on varying planes.

Our NCE mandrel pipe benders come with an easy to use NC control unit that is housed in a movable floor pendant with foot pedal controls and safety switches. The NC operator control unit can house 20 programs with up to 10 bends per program.

A rugged build electro welded frame coupled to an industrial grade direct drive system that is encoder controlled with powerful hydraulic pressure in key bend areas, allows this mandrel pipe bender to bend down to 1 X OD. Now that is a tight bend with an accuracy of 1/10th of a degree.
