VMD-40G Gear Driven Vertical Mill/Drill Press
The VMD-40G gear driven vertical mill/drill press has a very wide column to eliminate flexing when milling or drilling at full capacity. The base and column are made from a very rigid casting adding to the strength of this 1-1/2" maximum capacity drilling machine. The gear driven head allows the machinist or fabricator to run tooling at the proper speed for each mill, drill or tap size available. Running at the exact speed extends tooling life, something that can't be accomplished on other mill/drills. The VMD-40G also comes standard with a coolant system, R8 spindle taper and a halogen light.
